MAKE NORMAL TYPES GREAT AGAIN!
>>
Go away, Terapagos
>>
>>58834369
Give it a baked-in extra bit of STAB. Instead of 50%, how about 65-75%?
>>
>>58834381
Only for mono-normal types
>>
>>58834369
What do you mean? Normal is already great, just look at Dragonite
>>
>>58834433
Yes, of course. That would be silly. No bonus if you terra into normal. That will be gone next gen anyhow, in favor of a new generational gimmick.

Actual normal-types get a slight increase to their own STAB. Might as well if they'll never land a SE hit.
>>
>>58834369
>Normal types now have a x1.2 damage bonus on non-STAB moves automatically
>Super effective moves against a Pokemon that's a normal type are now reduced by 12.5% (So a hypothetical Normal/Steel type would take only x3.5 damage from Fighting moves, and only x1.75 damage from Fire/Ground moves)
>>
literally just make it resist Dark
That's ALL you have to do.
>>
Just give Mega Kick nonretarded accuracy
