I don't care, because the entire franchise is "reddit". When people think about what a redditor would play, Pokémon is among the first answers. Even the Grookey, Tepig and Quaxly lines (which were the least popular in that reddit poll) are "reddit" by default. Being a "Pokémon fan" might be one of the most "reddit" thing you can be.

There is literally a subreddit just for Gardevoir. And if a random internet user hears about a community of people who fap to Gardevoir, then "redditor" might be among what they might think first.
Even infamous mons on /vp/ like Delcatty or Goodra are more of a "reddit" thing.
/vp/, outside of its userbase which is getting scarce since a few years ago, has no impact whatsoever. Not even the most legendary pokemon meme (I liek Mudkipz) comes from /vp/, it was from /b/.
