Pokémon music died the moment Masuda got booted out of the company. Despite him stepping down from music lead and "just" composing some songs, you can tell he still had the reign.

One of Gamefreak composers has admitted to using AI to make his music for him and tried coming up with a billion excuses after his really stupid admission.He's not even the only one, from what we saw in the Teraleak, Gamefreak has been using AI for a lot of shit, from renders, to procedural generation and very likely as well Pokemon designs, I mean come on, Mega Raichu looks like AI slop, there's no fucking way they didn't use AI to make it.
I talked with a composer fag I know, and according to him swing rhythms like Jacinthe's theme, were one of the first things AI was trained to produce.
