the game seems to be anti science(tist)
>>
Scientists are stereotypical bad guys in fiction bro, always with crazy ass schemes

except for dr oak, dr elm etc

have you seen "back to the future"
>>
apparently einstein was a celebrity
>>
>>58927820
There is an NPC in the start of every single fucking game that says science/technology is incredible, you mongoloid
>>
>>58927880
well is it possible that the game praises science
while subtly encouraging the player to hate on scientists
>>
>>58927885
The games don’t really hate on the professors
>>
>meanwhile the most recent Pokemon game has a pokenazi as the region scientist

They are the good ones. Goofy evil scientists are fun though and either make a piece of fiction goofier in a fun way or are just straight up fun and/or good characters so they’re used a lot compared to how many actual evil scientists there are.
>>
>>58928036
have there been any instances of evil scientists irl?
>>
>>58928072
They're not as common knowledge as good scientists for obvious reasons, commoners are too untrusting of scientists as it is, they don't need anymore publicity
Thomas Midgley Jr., Roy J. Plunkett and John E. Franz are the ones that come up the top of my head, but there are many others
