anyone that uses TMs, battle items, plays on shift, overlevels (and by extension hacks in rare candies and EV training), and uses legendaries on their team in a playthrough is a faggot

whats wrong with TMs
>>
>nooooooo you must play the games how I want you to play them

>using mesprit is gamebreaking, you didn't beat the game!
>mega salamence is fine though

I agree with the overleveling 100%. As for battle items, it depends on what items and what pokemon you're using them for. For example, I'm not gonna rag on someone for putting choice specs onto a Ledian. As for TMs, I disagree.

TMs incentivize the player to ignore pokemon that are less than desirable stat-wise but also carve out a certain niche with their level-up movesets for a particular move. Imagine if spore was a TM, why would you use a parasect or breloom then? and on the flipside, ice beam and blizzard TMs completely invalidate the mons that get them by level cuz "well ill just slap ice beam on starmie so i dont have to use an octillary or ddewgong for claire/lance".
