I can't imagine the mindset of someone so seperated from the franchise they didn't even know that Gen 8 and 9 exists, but for some reason thinking that the fact they don't know it matters enough to come to the specific board on 4chan for Pokemon to tell people they didn't know it.Like I don't play Final Fantasy XIV. I think they had an expansion called Shadowbringers at one point or something. I don't know if they have done more since. If I learned they have, why the fuck would I ever go to like, a Final Fantasy discussion forum and say "bro I didn't know your game had more expansions lol".Why is Pokemon something that people are like, UNIQUELY proud to not be aware of?
