The combat is really cool, and it's actually easy to me because I played so much wow. It's hard to get into, but it's fun. Really compelling. Lots of handholding but I'm a mixture of too experienced and too unexperienced to play it. I still don't see any better games to play at the moment, I have all night to play. I might as well.

Your Pokémon follows you, so you gotta distance yourself from opponent's moves that affect an area, like Fire Spin and Whirlpool, in order to have your Pokémon stop taking damage from it, or using moves that change your Pokémon's position to your advantage.Timing is important too, I just finished an opponent using Quick Attack while they were already charging an attack.
