What do we think about WW new gimmick "Rebirth" where a fainted Pokemon comes back with stat boost and some with new forms and cannot get switched out?Any competitive merit in this or is it just a lazy anime moment type gimmick?

You'd be actively punished for taking out threats and there'd be no counterplay, the inability to switch out is far far less of a punishment in doubles (the actual competitive format) compared to singles where most turns are switches.Also that leak wasn't fucking real. We already knew what the starters were going to be (animal-wise) from the actual reputable sources.
