I can remember having a pokemon on the SP but not which one. My uncle called me a fag for crying at the movie. I can remember playing XD and Colosseum, i thought Shadow Lugia was so cool. I got beat up for saying Suicune was cooler than Entei. Oh i remember some event for Manaphy at Toys r Us!So I'm facing ebay and the local game stores but I'm a bit overwhelmed with my options and how expensive they are. I'll have to get the system and the game. I'm thinking a Gameboy Color or SP, and maybe Silver?>sry for vent but working through a lot lol

>>59020270Yeah, SPs are comfy. If you want to play newer games, an emulation device would play every other gen comfortably.
thanks guys yeah ive done emulating like on my phone but never thought about using my wii for it, definitely gonna try and get XD on there now!! looking up prices for crystal as we speak
looking at these prices... i might just have to get a ds and go with soul silver... guess i might as well 3DS then... maybe i can trade in my vita?
>>59020384Yeah the retro game market is absolutely nuts with its greed, I believe you can get Twilightmenu (the program that lets you play roms on actual hardware) on a Dsi too but 3ds is probably the best value. I feel like the Vita is going to continue to go up in price in the future so I’d just wait and save until you get the money (although the same can be said of the 3ds).

Unless you really really want the authentic experience, I'd recommend downloading an emulator on your computer or phone. Retro games are way too expensive to justify.
