It's literally Autism check list simulator. Professor Tangrowth even tells you to take it easy and go at your own pace because of all the Pokemon you can find, all the shit you can build.

The gameplay is pretty different because RimWorld is top down perspective and cause it has failure states but the rough gameplay loop has a lot of parallels
>recruit new "colonists" who are good at different things
>keep said colonists happy by pandering to their personal needs
