Isn't Teddiursa too old to be treated like a baby?

Teddiursa should be a Baby Pokémon, along with some others like Tinkatink. There's also some existing Pokémon like Kangaskhan who should get a Baby Pokémon pre-evo. Baby Pokémon are yet another instance of this franchise introducing an interesting idea with bad implementation.

Stop trying to make it a topic.

I personally think Sunkern should be a baby.

Teddiursa is a toddler amongst the baby Pokémon.

I was gonna say it couldn't have been a baby bc babies were exclusively given to already existing Pokémon, but that's not true given Togepi was introduced in the same generation (though tbf, it was also a kind of mascot for the new breeding mechanic).

Cubone, Phantump, as well as other child-like Pokémon like should've been babies from the get-go.
Stantler and Duraludon should get babies too. They were fine as standalone 'mons, but giving them evolutions makes their evolutionary line lopsided now.

Damn because of the anime I always thought that Teddiursa was a baby Pokemon and by extension Phanpy as well because in Pokemon Crystal they were sort of counterparts in a way, both being rare encounters very early in the game only in the morning who had a chance to flee, and I think a few trainers used both side by side too.

Teddiursa and Phanpy probably SHOULD have been baby Pokemon honestly. They'd fit right in.

I forget Teddiursa was a counterpart to Phanpy, that might explain why it wasn't a baby.

It seems the term Baby Pokémon is also for toddlers and children as well as babies.

Great Tusk should have been an evolution like Ursaluna, it's not fair!

English speakers are the only ones in the world to make a distinction between crawling infants and walking infants. Everyone else just calls them "baby" until they're no longer such, then they're "child".

Babies can't breed whereas Teddiursa can

Toxel is so cute
>>
>>59055309
If it keeps being completely helpless and incapable of shaking off even a pesky human? It's gonna be treated like a baby even if it doesn't want to.

I will make babies with female Teddiursas

Ursaring and Ursaluna (Normal) ruin the line by not being attractive enough.

Teddiursa and Ursaluna (Bloodmoon) are perfect.

I was gonna say it's because you get them as gift eggs in their debut games, but: 1) you apparently get aToxel directly in SwSh, not an egg; 2) you get a Larvesta egg in BW and that's not a baby.

I mean Toxel is pretty easy to justify as a baby Pokémon bc it literally is a baby basically, but then why isn't Flabébé a baby Pokémon?

Any pokemon can be treated "like a baby" to be fair.
