you know that one theory everyone used to talk about where Ash's entire adventure was actually a comatose dream state? Has anyone ever done a full story with Ash waking up years later in the hospital, having missed school and most of his life, and now having to deal with even larger problems as he reluctantly accomplishes his dream of being a pokemon trainer?
I think there's a lot of potential there for feels and drama. How is that not a rom hack?
