How we doing, anons?
I finally got my shiny Magikarp after 23k resets after 4-5 months of hunting and have moved on with my Professor Oak/SBQ combo challenge playthrough. I have to say grinding all these mons has really made me both appreciate and hate certain ones more. I forgot how absolutely painful Zubat is to use (having not grinded an early game one since I was a kid). I had no idea Paras was just complete shit. Okay, I did, but just how shit it really is. Absolute pain getting it up to Parasect with just Scratch and Leech Life. Conversely Geodude is an absolute monster early game and I had no idea; think there was a difference of 3-4 hours in the amount of time it took me to evolve it compared to the former two simply because it could actually carry itself in a battle.
