>>59202320>Even as a Champ his team sucksConsidering gen 1 competative his team is actually fairly solid. Rhydon, Alakazam, and Exeggutor are all OU. Gyarados is solid, and Arcanine is probably the best fire type besides Moltres because of his stats, even if fire type isn't too great in general. Only Pidgeot is an underperformer. In gen 2 his team is even better competatively since everything gets more movepool options.His main issue is movesets. In RGB They're just the normal level up moves so outside of Alakazam they kind of suck ass. In GSC they tried to give him weather shenanigans which sabotage alot of his mons kits.
