No, not until Pokemon Home rewards became a thing, at least. Never had the desire, but when Home was offering shiny mythicals I completed a living dex of every pokemon and completed every pokedex that could connect to Home

They have to be from that game though, so you can't just get like, 1 spiritomb and be done with it, has to be a spiritomb from legends arceus specifically as well as BDSP and whatnot.

Did it legit for Crystal, Platinum, HG, White 2 w/White data transfer and Black 2 Challenge Mode and YCompleted the Alola Pokedex but Gen 7 was the first real dexcut since you don't get a National Dex that has all of the Pokemon, they were all just coded into the game unlike the Switch versions

Got shiny Manaphy by breeding a bunch of shit from Legends Arceus in BDSP and having a anon touch trade cover legendaries. Legends ZA was annoying but thankfully you can import a Feebas to give an NPC and she'll breed them for origin marks, took forever to get Galarian Yamask though.

I had a game shark since gen 1 and still never bothered to finish it even though I could have given myself any pokemon I needed. I tried to finish the dex in gen 2 but my save battery died (this was before gen 3 even came out so it was the latest game and the fucking battery already died)
