I'm mostly interested in Masuda's battle theme and gen 1 compositions and other details about the Game Freak Sound Team. The last few generations haven't interested me much, and I probably can't name more than 10 Pokemon past gen 6. I still listen to beta themes from the Teraleak and other such novelties. I think Winds and Waves look promising and I want them to succeed, however.

I'm pretty casual about it but I still play every main game on release. Pokemon still brings me joy which makes it hard to talk to other people about because they either have surface knowledge or are the "Nintendo is le heckin lazy" type. I have written a short oneshot about pokemon but I dont think I can find it now. I own some pokemon plushies and have GSC on cartridge. As a teen, when BW2 was released more or less, I sold my original copies of Pearl, Ranger 1, Emerald and Ruby for not as much as I hoped for and definitely not even close to what all that would be worth now. Pokemon is a part of my life and my friends know I like it, but I have many other interests so its not like they know me for it. I obviously enjoy pokeporn but I'm surprised how much people engage with pokemon almost exclusively through it lol
