I felt the difficulty level in this fame was perfect. I managad to get the 2nd ending after many many tries. The silver coin challenges were fun.m and it's great when it feels doable and the game rewards you for 'practice makes perfect.Slight complaint is the graphics are very kiddiefied: they manage to make Mariokart look like a raw, adult game in comparison.Otherwise I feel it is by far the better game of the two. It has a story, a hub with challenges, boss fights, boats, airplanes. Silver coin challenges that give you more of an incentive to get really good at the game, a secret ending. Probably some other things I'm forgetting.And this was Rareware's first attempt. They truly were something else during that era.

Why did they make the direction of this game so overtly kiddy? None of their other games are really like that. DKC or Banjo have such a cool tone in comparison. I don't really understand.
