I really like this wooden coaster.

I wanted to make up for the compact Woodie I built and subsequently abandoned on Fjords a few weeks ago.

Pretty much done with this area. Very happy with how it came out. Good to get back to something a bit more ambitious.

Does the 4chan kit contain a copy of the game? I feel like playing rct2 for old times sake
>>
>>10871198
No, just download it off archive.org or gog-games if you don't feel like paying. Don't forget to get RCT1 while you're at it.

Here's both RCT2 and RCT1 for OpenRCT2

I've been playing rct3.
Really only because I own the discs and getting rct2 would cost me money, but it's fun regardless.
After 20 years I'm finally tackling those scenarios.
>>
>>10878019
>getting rct2 would cost me money
No it wouldn't.
>>
>>10878065
I don't like torrenting. I've fucked it up before, and it's illegal where I live to boot and I'd rather not risk that.
Skill issue, I know, but at this point I've accepted that it's a skill I don't have.
Besides, rct3 is plenty fun by itself.
>>
>>10878075
>torrenting
No need.

>>10878079
What the fuck
Thanks, man
I'll save this for later, currently I'm already deep into rct3. I want to at least make something out of a big sandbox park before putting that down again.
>>
>>10878084
>>10878079
This exact post was already made in this thread lol
>>
>>10878084
How's your RCT3 adventure been? I was thinking of tackling them myself but I've only gotten a few scenarios deep because I was using a version that made water bug out on high refresh rate screens and it was hurting my eyes. Might get back to it now since the GOG version doesn't have that bug.
>>
I went through every RCT3+expansion campaign map (minus the last three in vanilla) last year, and this is the only screenshot I took, for some reason.
Giant slides are overpowered
>>
>>10879073
Taking it easy. Just beat checkered flag, box office next. I still haven't quite figured out how to quickly meet shop profit goals, 200/month took me a while.
I intersperse my scenario play with fucking around in editors to see what works and slowly expanding my sandbox park with minimal scenery, which is more scenery than I've ever used before.
I finally figured out how to enable track intersections so I can tie closer knots and I've used it to make the worst go-karts.
Does rct3 have a lower build limit?

>>10879978
Overpowered how?
>>
>>10880762
Actually struggling on box office
Where the fuck do I get a coaster with >7 excitement and <4 intensity
>>
>>10880762
>Overpowered how?
You can charge a fuckload for it. I don't remember exactly how much, but it was the highest earner after the twister coaster
>>
>>10881767
I always charge by excitement, 1:1. Not fully sure how charging works in rct3 but I remember it working in rct2.
>>
We should run Michigan River again this weekend, seems like there was still plenty of empty space.
>>
Were the RCT3 scenarios any good? I spent 99% of my time in that game in the sandbox mode.
>>
>>10883727
From the ones I remember I liked a few of them.
>>
>>10883578
That's a good idea, I haven't had a chance to make any huge rollercoasters lately and that map is perfect for some

Michigan River Round 2
97.69.222.117:11753
>>
>>10883727
Yes but the wild expansion one are pretty boring, with the need to resell animals until you reach a certain amount felt less like a theme park game
>>
>>10883727
Soaked expansions are the best in my opinion. Vanilla is hit or miss, and Wild is forgettable. One thing to keep in mind with 3's scenarios is that each map has 3 tiers of objectives which can be retroactively be achieved. Some maps can be beaten within half an hour
