BUT, it performs worse when actually running emulators for modern consoles (ie Switch) and has worse compatibility. Considering most emulators are on Play Store this also means most emulator devs will probably want to get their signatures verified by Google (those who offer paid versions of emulators are already identifying themselves to Google, so they will certainly be verified). This all means you'll be able to sideload pretty much anything coming from the Play Store anyway. The only thing that would be affected are pirated/cracked APK files which, when rebuilt, get their built-in signature invalidated.5. Even assuming the worst case scenario (if apk verification cannot be disabled by the OEM and none of the emulator developers get verified) you can still sideload APKs. You can enable sideloading in "Settings -> Developer Settings". The only inconvenience is that you have to wait 24 hours for sideloading to get enabled on your device.
