Yes, there is a notable ROM hack featuring both Sonic and Yoshi: "Yoshi in Sonic 2" (also called "Yoshi in Sonic the Hedgehog 2").

This is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis/Mega Drive) by Xenowhirl, originally entered in the 2010 Sonic Hacking Contest. It was unreleased for years but leaked/surfaced around 2017. It’s technically impressive and has been widely covered for blending the two franchises.
