I think I'm more or less done with the chink mod that was posted before. It's very rough and incomplete in a lot of places and outright broken in others. Getting the bonfire level to 3+ IIRC glitches it so that you can't level up anymore, and before that your soul to EXP ratio is intentionally lowered by some amount because fuck you. Overall it feels very questionably balanced and typically tilting in the enemy's favor, with bosses tending to move fast and hit like trains in my limited experience.The most common enemies you'll fight at the very start of the game literally don't even give any souls to level or buy shit with either, which is annoying as fuck. Having an actual fucking Evasion stat is also a lot more common, and I wound up missing a lot of shit unless I went out of my way to try to intentionally inflict an ailment to debuff the enemy's evade at 25 MP a pop. By the way, there's enemies that are basically immune to all ailments because fuck you, this includes one particular common enemy at the start of the game which also happens to have a high evasion stat and strong physical resists. This all also isn't helped by you starting with 95% accuracy as opposed to BS2's 100% base. You can upgrade your accuracy through leveling a la the Souls series, but it's at a whopping 0.05% per point. There's various damage types that matter a lot for your damage output too, but you're shafted when it comes to weapon materials. Actually, you're generally at a shortage for items of all kinds. Even basic healing/damaging/buffing items tend to be relatively expensive compared to your soul income (feels pretty low in general) and you're not really given a central location to buy all your shit from like the Bear or the Sheep in BS2.To add insult to injury, while there's not much plot in the game so far, what I have seen isn't anything good. For example, assuming my MTL didn't lie to me, they have 02-A acting as a fucking Mary apologist.

Rest were a fuckboy for his teacher, three personality black holes that do not utter a word and the rest I forgot.If you are looking for some more h-games I recommend The Last Sovereign, a WEG but I like it. It is very long and very autistic. Choices come back to help or haunt you 20 hours later and that has effect on events 20 hours later level of autism. EA but has some 100 hours of playtime.

As far as BS2 goes, you're unironically doing yourself a disservice by keeping the H-scenes off for everything. While BS1's scenes are mostly just characterization with a few exceptions, you'll come across lore bits a lot more often in BS2's sex scenes, or downright get loredumped in a few of them. There's also certain events that are completely locked behind these kind of things too, that you'll just never see if you just completely avoid any sex in the game.Also, you really should fully complete BS1 before playing more of BS2. Although I don't really care for most of the H scenes in the games, I will say that the whole purpose of sex in the series is very important. It's one thing that I've kinda come to understand after playing BS and going back to other media that doesn't have any sexual themes. Sex is really a core part of what it means to be a human or at least a man. There are a lot of stories that have romance and whatnot, but they tend to neglect the sexual importance of romance and how much men desire that. And I don't mean including sex scenes, instead I mean how sexual desire can be a pretty big motivation or hindrance for characters. That's not to say that stories that ignore sex are bad, but I feel like it's an ingredient that I have really grown a taste for. What other good pieces of fiction have you guys read that don't shy away from sex?

I just followed a jap’s usual twitter routine of post art, maybe comment a few things, like stuff, and go back to the drawing board.
