Got a new smartphone and apparently can't recover my old save of Buriedbornes.
What are some other RPGs for mobile? Preferrably something grindy that is easy and quick to start any time, close and continue where you left off. Is Buriedbornes 2 an overall improvement?
Yes, I know Wizardry Daphne exists, but regardless of how much people will claim that you don't need to spend a dime, I will never install a gacha.

Just install roms. Smartphones can even play GameCube games nowadays. I beat Skies of Arcadia on my Galaxy s20.

Can you explain why people play "mobile RPGs" as opposed to playing the same console/pc RPGs that are also available on mobile? Without even considering emulation, I know that developers like square enix put their games on mobile. Is it that you've played all the non-exclusive games already? Or you just think the made-for-mobile games are better?

Because I can just play them on my PC. And I'd rather play them like I play any other game on the PC or on a console.
A game like Buriedbornes is just made for five minutes on the train. Easy to start and pick up where you left last time.
