This mod pisses me off so fucking much. There is so much wasted potential and so much that could be done, but it is all shot down due to the fact that the discord-dwelling bastards who run the server are far too comfortable in their positions and refuse to actually do their jobs properly.National Ideas threads languish for 1/2+ months when realistically they should have taken barely a day to get done (Since they have to pass through Content Review, Region Lead Review, Writing Review, and Dick-Sucking Review, each taking at least a week to get a response and often happening more than once), mission trees are basically impossible to get approved unless you do the most cookie-cutter bullshit imaginable that alings with their 'vision' and 'morals', and god forbid you actually try to use some of the cool mechanics added by dlc or shit you drew up yourself, the 'systems reviewers' will gut you for that. Regions that are popular (Cannor still the most popular region despite being locked since forever, btw, and having completely outdated mission trees) are forcefully beat down and made to roll in the mud with the rest. A mission tree with 40~ missions was added to the game in little less than two weeks. If we ignore any issues such as bugs, whether or not it is fun, well-designed, playable in multiplayer, and has interesting lore, it is clear that the only reason Anbennar takes months to add new mission trees and other content is the stranglehold that reviewers have over the whole process.Dozens if not more people would like to contribute but do not do so exactly because of this. Why can't they see that they're just hurting the mod? It is not a good look that a lead dev can just push a mission tree through in such a short time while new contributors struggle to even get threads made for them.
