I think this is her peak this was on the same level as her last album which isn’t bad but I think she’s hit her ceiling.
This album's vibe is very pop-y compared to Phantomime imo, you can feel Morpo channeling her inner 2000s garage band /emo pop front women
Morp said this was her "darkest album yet" but imo I still think that crown belongs to J6, however I do think she's introspective on this project
I feel like that metal switch up at the end of Tenchu & Mercy should've led directly into Rivals and Equals instead of having Ningen Dakara in between. Then with the more hip-hoppy sort of outro of Rivals and Equals you could then place Ningen Dakara afterwards

Haven't listened to the album in full yet but I'm honestly... confused as to why she kept Hidefumi Kenmochi's name a secret when she announced the tracklist? Like they already collabed before on Future Island. I was honestly expecting a much bigger name to be involved like Kenshi Yonezo or something.Also I'm surprised the Die For You remix hasn't been put up on streaming yet like they did for the Go-Getters Yoon remix on phantomime.

I really like her song choice to end an album. Glass slipper, through the blue, and now memento, all ends on a sentimental note

I saw some debbies talk about Memento and I don't quite agree with their take on it that it's an amalgamation of her fanbase, her musician oshis, and that one highschool crush she mentioned on stream once. While it is talking about her own romantic experiences it's specifically taking about one romantic experience and I think we all know which one.
