I've come to realize it is important to separate your VTuber accounts from your normal accounts. If you do any sort of kayfabe or playing a character,you should absolutely use different accounts. People change, and while it has helped me to play the character I am meant to, I also do not fit the exact same image as I would like to build for her.

It is also for sanity reasons, being just a normal person on a different account, not worrying about anything relating to stream is a wonderful, freeing feeling. I never understood why streamers would make alts and such before just for being a viewer, but I understand now.

Serious question here. Is anyone here willing to admit that they’re fat and or ugly? I get the feeling a lot of vtubers choose vtubing exactly because they can hide their fatness/ugliness. But then you make friends with certain vtubers and you associate how they look with their perfect looking vtuber models. 2 years ago my friends and I had attempted to create our own vtuber agency/collective.

At first everything went nice and dandy. I was the artist out of the 4 so, naturally, I was in charge of designing the characters, assets, logo, designs, basically everything art related in the group because it would save money in the long run. I love designing characters so I did that first, I made mine, it looked cool, made my other friend's and it looked good, great even. Then I had to work on the other 2 and boy did I dislike the process.

For the sake of making it easier to understand, let's call the other guy in the group Blue.

When I first joined I saw BLUE using AI for the designs. Normally that would've been grounds for me to not even consider it , but since he was a friend I looked past it and decided to join the collective and redo all the designs and make them better with my skills as an artist or at least that what I tried to do. The design I made for my model and the other girl's model were really nice and cohesive, it looked like we belonged in the same world lore wise, but when it came to Blue and his then GF I just couldn't. Blue was so obsessed with wanting to be Kuzuha but blue. I couldn't even get other ideas through him because of that. Everything we did we just circled back to him wanting it to look like Kuzuha but blue and at the end we just settled for a super generic and boring design because that's all he was happy with. When it came to Blue's then GF, she didn't even have a say on her model design. Every time she pitched in her idea, he shot it down and insisted that the AI generated design was perfect and shouldn't be changed. I kinda felt bad at that moment, but I didn't want to interfere incase it would escalate into something huge and split the group. Once the designing and the branding part was done, we decided to work on our content and Blue wanted us to sing. NO ONE in our group could sing and NO ONE aside from him wanted to do it, but he kept forcing us to do it and was so convinced that a group of people that cannot sing would be able to create viral covers. For whatever reason he believed that it would work. It took weeks of me telling Blue that that is a terrible idea and that we're better off just recording our gaming sessions, editing it and posting it online. Gaming was the only thing that all of us liked doing and we had insane chemistry together, but he kept giving excuses as to why we should do it later. As time went on, he kept introducing ridiculous and unrealistic ideas that he believed would benefit us, to the point where everyone else in the group kind of got tired of it. We stopped being active and eventually the group died and everyone went their own way.

He was just overall annoying to work with and it felt like we were only there to make is dream of being a CEO of a vtuber agency real.


2 years go by and recently Blue wants to start all over again because he's upset that we didn't do anything and have all these stuff lying around. I obviously said no cause there's no way that I'd want to work with him again on anything considering how our attempt of creating a vtuber agency went. He's been pestering me about it for days saying that we have amazing chemistry and all that but falling for it.


Honestly ever since he's been pestering me about it again I've gotten this urge to create a collective without him out of spite. I still have some left love for designing to creating vtuber models cause I love seeing my creations come to life but idk man. Maybe I should let that spiteful feeling die and move on. What do you guys think?

When you say move on, there is where my question aims at; will you abandon entirely all of these things that you say you love? Will you give up on making models, helping people get their avatars up, allowing those who don't have quite everything at their hands to easily materialize their designs lose your capacities and abilities? Or you refer, when you say "let that spiteful feeling die", to the idea of ignoring these emotions of anger towards blue fade out in order to give the guy a second chance to try and work with them again?
I also tried to say that, from my perspective, if you do actually love it; whichever way you mean to go, should be the one of remaining as a helper instead of entirely forgetting about all of these things, we have to assume that you are being honest and truly love helping others as you say so; so that means that it would be quite tragic to just give up on that passion because of the bad experiences you had with one guy, or one group (which you already described wasn't even that bad, it really is a case of just one guy, blue, being the biggest hindrance).
