Update on the situation from a few days ago, if any buds are interested:So, it looks like Cameron got booted out of the qualification when he was nearly done. Three seven hour days of intensely focused and concentrated effort on both our parts down thedrain, just inches from the finish line. We woke up, he opened the page on his browder, and instead of taking him back to where he left off, it just showed him the empty DataAnnotation task dashboard without the qualification splash screen. We tried a few things, but no way to progress with the qualification. What I think happened here is that because he opened his DA account with his Google account, the tech lizards went ahead and did a backgeound check on him and saw that he was an unemployed GEDcel. They might also have been able to find the LinkedIn profile he opened that we were originally going to include with his evaluation submission (before promptly realizing that it could only hurt his prospects and giving up), which was barely even started. The issue is that said LinkedIn was ALSO created through his Google account, which probably made it easy to find, and it bore the name of said Google account - I won't share the exact name, but it was something equivalent to "fuhhammettgod the unclean" (a portmanteau of "Fuhrer", Hirk Hammett of Metallica, and... God. All lowercase). His profile picture also, naturally, looked like a hobo who was preparing to do something sexual to the viewer through the screen. This is all speculation of course, but my suspicions intensified when he tried to log back on to LinkedIn and he found that the account was locked, pending him providing his ID and a face scan so they could confirm who he is. Friend 4, let's call him Chekhov, proposed that DA might have seen the profile and thought he was a troll, or even a youtuber planning on doing an expose on DA's hiring practices ("they let someone called "fuhhammettgod the unclean" onto their platform, what are these guys doing lol"). It sucks, but he was only planning on working for a few weeks a month so as not to earn too much and therefore get disqualified from his SSI/SSDI anyway. Another friend of mine commented "The gynocrat class cannot allow a sensitive young man to get up from any fall. In their paranoid schizophrenia, they treat any 'failure' as a basically criminal tier red flag and will go out of their way to shut down your enfranchisement." So, that's frustrating... but at least we tried. We then took the opportunity to admonish him to: a) get a haircut, because he rather likes his "Terry Bogard" hair, picrel (he's a big fan of KoF), b) shave, c) brush his teeth, as when I asked whether it had been "weeks or months" since he'd last brushed, he answered "maybe weeks, maybe months...?"and Chekhov says that he now looks like he has "meth teeth", and d) budget like $50 to get some decent, presentable clothes. Not sure what our next move for him will be, perhaps he should try going back to college since I'll be able to basically give him free tutoring services this time around.
