There's really not that much variety on who to attach to and most of the Esports crowd is diametrically orthogonal to who watches Vtubers for the most part, which is good only in the sense that there is an audience to tap into for growth but bad into how much effort is needed to convert those people to watching.
VSPO EN doesn't have the power to attach people tied to the pro scene as the JP branch so I imagine they will need to try and do it from what is there in the EN scene for that. Doki is probably the best long-term one but will only work for Apex, they will need to do something for CS2 and OW2 if the main content on two of the girls channels are to remain that.
