In Mario Kart she initially picked Shy Guy because she thought it was the character that looked closest to her model, but she switched to Red Yoshi almost immediately after that for a like over a year until she started taking lessons from Rindou Mikoto for the Holo Tournament who suggested Dry Bowser for her, which she's been using since.
