I am once again posting my i3 setup that hasn't changed since the last 2 times I've posted it.
>>8135622surprised you're running i3 on a hybrid laptop. how's gaming working out for you? could never get my strix to work well on any xorg stuff.
>>8135622I've had mostly minor issues with it, and none I'd attribute to X11. Gaming with Wine has been fine, but I haven't gamed in at least a year.>couldn't get audio recording with MIDI to work. I'm definitely not very knowledgeable in that area, but I was able to do so with my Windows boot no problem>Wayland has given me issues in the past which is what pushed me to switch to this current setup since all the normal desktop environments have integrated it>The obnoxiously loud fan that I've been unable to control. All that said...I will never buy an Asus or Nvidia product ever again and when I eventually get a new laptop I'll probably try out Sway.
