Its about time ill effort post my hyperborea edits From the golden era of hyperborea, kept in my folder for half a decade only for my personal consumption and vrill restoration, i randomly came up on wsg the other day and i saw this spic posting spic hyperborea and it was finally the trigger for me to do it. When was the golden era:The golden era was from the start of 2020 to the end of 2020.It aligned with Orange goy's reelection campaign and it was many little accounts doing video editing for fun, some of the bigger accounts like panther den got retweeted by trump himself i think and it was part of the reason it got so popular, though it was still a grass root movement of zoomers yapping about what could be under the Antarctic plate and unironically reading bronze age mindset and Robert Saphr, i was one of those zoomers, freshly 19 and blasting T, enjoying that redpill awakening and just checking twitter every to vibe to those edits, it was the most fun i had online ever, trolling liberals, trolling paul skallas, making impersonator accounts of people, reading mencious moldbugman writting about pajeets in the corporate world, laughing at weihan, it was gold, and its not like there was much else to do online at the time, even youtube was crap cause all of the bans and stuff, we all just read books, listened to podcasts and we were on twitter i feel like.
By the end of 2020 and as trump had lost the election, trannies running twitter just started banning everyone even more often, all those OG edit accounts had to keep making new ones, in a way that small period of time was the best time to find hyperborean edits cause everyone would just repost their old stuff and get retweeted by other hyperborean accounts to help them regain their audience, during the first days of the year 2021 I had the intuition to write a python script that just downloaded entire account's media tabs, I hoarded them all on my old uni laptop and just selectively picked out which ones i liked the most, i shit you now, next week the capital insurrection happens and twitter troons just hit the nuclear button on the entire app, the biggest right wing purge from a social media app that ever happened, i got my account banned, and almost everyone i knew lost their account too, and i havent really used twitter much since, and it looks like to me hyperborean edits never really moved on from that, but it could also be that just yeelon just pulled us all back in the goy reservation which is now more right wing than ever, i kinda believe that type of creativity was in part a product of the censorship and the tranny liberal pressure if that makes sense. Anyway, heres my collection, I had a soft spot for good music, cause hyperborean edits was the only form of media i would really consume at the time, too red pilled for movies or mainstream music,
The folder was 500 to 600 files long but half of it was old ass racist memes and misc shit i hoarded at the time, i also had to omit a ton of hyperborean edits cause i felt like they were too repetitive or basic, i spent a lot of time weeding out stuff, i still kept some adjacent media for pallete cleansers, its 100+ of files i intent to post, i would love it if you guys let me post most of them over the course of the next one to two weeks. ill post the original mp4 if you want me to if some file is too low quality, cause some of the original mp4 are several dozens of mb in size, it just seems like catbox is broken and unreliable at the time of typing this.I ironically started by posting two modern hyperborean edits first, i randomly found them on twitter last year and kinda remind me of the good old times.
at one point during that period i was really into learning chinese for some reason so i reached hsk 3 at reading it and i just collected rekt clips straight from the source, weibo, i went and effort fagged hundreds of files and converted them to webm for the degens at gif under the same name, What was crazy is that those files would just be posted by my friends back on our discord server and im like, I FOUND THAT, speaks to how relevant 4chan was back in the day, NOW DAYS I CAN BARELY POST cause this catchphra bullshit, and it even has a half a minute timeout for me to wait fore the new one, ffs, anywayemperor hirohito meeting puyi, 1940 colorized.
