I heard that there is an extension that allows you to see ID's even in bzoards that don't have them. What's the name of the extension?

I think you got trolled. Two other possibilities:

- It used to be the case that in the bottom right of the thread it said how many posters there are (on all boards). You could track that number. When it goes up you know it's a new unique poster.

- It's also fairly easy to create a fingerprint by comparing word frequency to the average on that board. That's a statistical method and can be undermined by the user changing their writing style for each sockpuppet.
