My monitor's speakers (Asus VG247QA1) suddenly stopped working. They still show up in windows and the sound bar still moves when something is playing but there is no sound. I tried plugging in other audio devices and they worked when I click the test button in sound settings.
When I test the monitor, nothing happens. I tried reinstalling drivers and it didn't work.

It's less than a year old so it shouldn't just fall apart like this. I also checked OSD and the volume was at 100 and wasn't on mute.

Please help.

have you tried to install the drivers from the asus website? and have you checked the monitor settings? maybe for whatever reason the volume was turned down to 0%?
