I'm having a problem with my Asus motherboard(B650e-e). It resets the bios settings every time there is power loss however date and time settings aren't lost. I ruled out it being a cmos battery issue since I tested the one that came with it along with 2 replacements that I purchased, all off them are good (around 3.2+ volts). Curiously the secure boot setting in the boot section of the bios doesn't reset with power loss. The system is stable when running though, no bsods, freezes or crashes. Only during power loss or when I pull it from the wall that the bios settings reset. I even tried the default settings in the bios, still the same result so it's not an overclock issue(I don't even overclock aside from expo). Any suggestions on how to solve this please?

Maybe something goes wrong on shutdown or startup and it reverts to the previous settings.

OP here but that wouldn't explain it not losing settings when it's still plugged to the wall when starting it up or shutting it down. I guess it some kind of bios corruption or just hardware issue. I guess it's just an Asus thing. I should've went for MSI or Asrock but this was the "cheapest" mobo with a 7 segment display.
