just like the subjects says, I bought a second laptop a few months ago. It was working perfectly fine, until after a few updates the damn thing won't stop overheating. I tried cleaning the fan, it didn't really solve anything. I did some security checks, nothing. I checked for anymore updates, and still nothing. The overheating itself does happen right away, but when it does it dwindles the battery percentagecan i have some help please?
>>1502724Yeah, buy a real computer.
>>1502724Can you show Speccy?
>>1502724>new laptopWarranty, things have that for reasons
>>1502724My first step would be checking forums to see if people who have purchased the same laptop have experienced the same issue.
What does "overheating" mean in this context, exactly? When does it occur? What did you use to check the temps? What does the resource usage look like at idle?
just use it outside, currently 29°F in my city
>>1502724If it uses fan(s) check if they are working, if not try enabling in the bios, or try to change to a new ones. But if the laptop is on warranty period, use it.Sometimes the updates cause these issues as well, try rolling back to the latest version prior the issue.Good luck.
