Dragon's Dogma does it very right, you exactly feel like a tank if you play your tanky build right. Prototype 1 gives you sexy biomonster armor as an option that sacrifices maneuverability for satisfying tankiness. Monster Hunter games deserve a honorary mention

So do any mecha games that understand momentum, which is kinda a rarity, like PS2 Votoms or Sandlot's mecha games
Armored Core games and their expies let you use heavy unstaggerable builds, naturally literal tank tread legs are best at this
