Can someone please point me in the right direction? Randomly my GPU was crashing which resulted in black screens and usually (LiveKernelEvent 141 & 117) would show up in Reliability Monitor. I Downloaded DDU multiple times and tried different drivers but it still happens randomly. It seemed like it was only when idle on YouTube but now it's happening in the middle of games. What i've tried so far:CPU stress test (completed)GPU stress test (completed)Reseated GPURAM test in windows (completed)Turned off XMP profileTurned off Game BoostSwitched HDMI cableI Don't know a lot about computers so this isn't really easy for me. From what i found online it maybe PSU or GPU but i'm not sure. HWMonitor and CPU-Z show 2.0v+ for my CPU but Ryzen Master shows a regular 1.0v+. It could be unrelated but i thought it was strange. Before the crashes it doesn't slow down, i can play high demanding games and run smooth. It just happens random and today there was no errors in Event Viewer or Reliability Monitor. Am i cursed?Specs:Ryzen 7 3700X3.60ghz16GB ram1tb SSDrx 6700XTwindows 11 (24h2)
Do you get a Video TDR failure or nvlddmkm.sys BSOD?This is a GPU failure sadly. The only way you can fix it is disabling all GPU overclock. Sometimes that isn't enough and you need to cap and lower the GPU clock until it stops crashing.
On my old computer the paste on the heat sink dried up and it was overheating.
>no mention of updating/rolling back driversget to it
>>1522117I hate doing that to video cards, always a chance that the computer could be essentially bricked.
>>1522129?????????????? bro it's just a driver, not flashing your fucking bios. update your shit. this should be literally the first thing you tried.
years ago when my graphics card kept randomly crashing it was because of my xbox controllerhttps://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/kj3277/desktop_window_manager_crashing_sporadically/
