replaced my HDD with SSD. I'm trying to use the HDD now as an external drive, I'm bit confused about formatting options; I'm thinking of going with btrfs because of check-summing and I want to encrypt it. do I have to first encrypt it or do I have to format and encrypt together? any options I should use with the commands that are specific to external HDDs? should I use XXHASH or go with the default?
