>Apply part time as a cart pusher>Orientation/First day of working was set to next week as trainer had to go to another person to train>Day of training is on Sunday>Said Sunday is supposed to be thunderstorming in the morning>I work in the morningWhat happens then? Do I get delayed again or some crap?
Well training is also like making you watch a gay little video on how to push carts. You'll probably do that. But grocery work yeah they do make you go out and do it in the rain. Active lightning, usually not, but sometimes.
>>1538671I don't mind rain, I can just clean the cart or something. But where I live, it's always storming so it never normally rains here. And was reading more about it and said that at the first sign of thunder, you go inside and need to wait out the storm. After 30 mins when thunder and lightning dies out, you go back to working. Also that if you're sent out to fetch carts while thunder storming, it's a violation. So what the hell do I do then? Sit on my ass?
