Recently finished reading the luther strode trilogy of comics and now I crave more non-superhero action comics.Anyone have some recommendations?

>>1548677I read luther strode years ago. I should probably re-read it.Anyways, are webcomics and stuff like asian comics ok with you?
also how much action does the comic need to have? Do you care about other themes/genres as well? Like uh IIRC, luthor strode had some elements of horror in it (maybe just since it was really gorey).
>>1548694I already read those. I love trigun maximum, helsing, berserk, and drifters. Luther Strode is the first comic that gave me the same type of feeling the action in those manga gave me. (The only other comic thats come close is invincible)
>>1548695Somewhere between luthor strode and invincible levels of action. As long as the artstyle fits, I dont really care what genre or themes it has. Im just a big sucker for hyper dynamic action. Most comics keep it contained to panels and paragraph length text while their fighting which is why I avoided them for so long.Luther strode kinda feel like if trigun had color. Sometimes you can get lost in the hyper dynamic posing due to the black and white. The strong line and color remove this issue.
One comic you might like is Kill Six Billion Demons:https://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/kill-six-billion-demons-chapter-1/It's not solely focused on action, and is more generally about adventure, but there is a lot of action. There's a few fight scenes later on that definitely remind me of luther strode.
>>1548837>10Thx, artstyle pretty good so far.
>>1548848Not sure why you had 10 in quotes, but speaking of 10, this is an another action/adventure comic:https://tenearthshatteringblows.com/archives/comic/1x01Not quite as gory as luther strode or even ksbd, but there's a lot of action.
i'll gradually post more as they come to mind.

Lookism doesn't really start as such, but it turns into whats basically similar to a korean version of a shonen martial arts manga. https://www.webtoons.com/en/drama/lookism/ep-1/viewer?title_no=1049&episode_no=1>Read the original webcomic behind Netflix's new animated series! Daniel is an unattractive loner who wakes up in a different body. Now tall, handsome, and cooler than ever in his new form, Daniel aims to achieve everything he couldn't before. How far will he go to keep his body... and his secrets? The earlier parts are lot different than the later parts which focus almost entirely on action. The genre of the earlier parts is a lot more diverse in where it goes, though it still has fights.
>>1548704I've watched hellsing and read berserk, but not the other 2. Have you ever seen the hellsing anime that diverged from the comics? It's not as good, but it has some great music and interesting parts.Anyways for anime, one thing that came to mind now is Akira. Since there are some reviewers that called Akira an action film, but I'm not sure if that would fit in what you are looking for. It is a good movie though.
>>1548936I've seen Akira, im talking about specifically western comics. Its so hard to find western comics that have good action.
Heir's Game is a western webcomic. The earlier parts centers around a duels in a tournament where the winner gets to become a nobles bodyguard. It had some memorable action scenesYou see someone get stabbed in the face and and another person gets their arm hacked off at one point. You get to see a close up of someones fingers getting cut off in one fight. However it's also a BL drama/romance comic and It's been a few years, so I don't remember how much action there was vs how much drama.
>another person gets their arm hacked off at one pointSlight correction their arm wasn't cut off in a fight, but they get a butchers knife swung through it and it had to be amputated later.
>>1548837>There's a few fight scenes later on that definitely remind me of luther strode.Looking back, I think I actually might have ended up reading luther strode because someone directly compared that scene in ksbd to luther strode.
Goblins had a lot of action, but it kinda starts off as a D&D 3.5 parody. It's been updating rather slowly recently:https://www.goblinscomic.com/comic/06252005The art style improves over time (as pointed out on that intro page). Might not be for everyone. I like the comic, but my understanding is its a hate it or love it comic (as some people find some parts too corny).
