I got perm banned on reddit years ago, probably for calling someone a tranny or something. I've appealed it (it was denied), I've made a new account (it got banned within hours). How do I go about regaining access with a new account? All the cucked AIs either won't help me or are too vague to be helpful. I figure someone has to have experience with this, I could of course change everything about my setup (different ISP, different browser, different browser extensions, different OS, different hardware components, you name it), but I figure that may be overkill and there's a couple key things I can change that they specifically use. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and their detection isn't nearly this sophisticated and I just got unlucky last time?

And before anyone calls me a redditor, I basically only want to have an account to be able to message people on there for purposes like buying\/selling used items, asking questions about products you're thinking about buying that someone on there owns, etc.

I used to like shitting up reddit, but then they really clamped down on it.
>the vast majority of subreddits won't let you post if you have either a new account (under arbitrary number of months old) or under a set amount of karma
>there is no way to know which subreddits let you post with a new zero karma account and which don't
>there's no "woah there buster, you can't post yet!" message if you're in one of the subs that restricts posting, your account is just "shadowbanned" which means nobody can even see your posts
>a lot of subreddits auto-report new accounts to the mods, who then shadowban you from the site
>if you hit any of the tripwires you'll be shadowbanned
>even assuming you have a year old account with enough karma to post, if a mod bans you you're shit out of luck and back to square one
this was probably almost a decade ago now, no idea how it is now, but i imagine it's either the same or even more restrictive, you probably need a real email instead of a throwaway
all in all you're probably better just using 4chan because it doesn't have as many gay little rules

I have no idea how this garbage nuked every forum in existence. I'm fine with signing up with real email addresses or whatever, but it's not simpler having the singular account for everything just be trash
