I was very relieved to make it to the steel doors at the opposite side of the room and I quickly opened them and stepped out of the ceremony and closed the door behind myself leaving the blood and murder behind me for the moment. All of this pushed me even deeper into myself and into a state of trauma.

What are the takeaways? These places are massive, they are never very deep underground (hundreds of feet), and not a single one was constructed, they are all old mines and such that have been repurposed. These are also the places that every single picture that was supposedly taken from inside a DUMB comes from.

The government has many of these facilities and they are almost impossible to find unless you study geology. They range in size from small to cavernous spaces (look at pictures of Soledar salt mine in Ukraine), where built before any of the above public storage facilities existed, and they contain everything from greenhouses to data centers to laboratories. Supposedly there’s even some black jail type places where disappeared people end up.

The closest I’ve seen someone get to disclosure about these places is the occasional mention of the supposed “Lechuguilla National Security Site” (LNSS) and the scientist John Westbrook who supposedly defected to China after leaving his work behind the green door.

Where would one begin to look for the real nuggets? You are correct- there is an approved Litany on these subjects that should be obvious at this point. (I have a background in nontraditional biowarfare, clandestine detention and disappearances, and Sigredux) but OSINT has become extremely powerful. OSINT is how it was discovered that the CIA was kidnapping people and putting them on planes to torture countries (Torture Taxi by Trevor Paglen, 2006). Unfortunately the early 2000s was the golden age of this type of OSINT and here in the supposedly “free” West the information has almost dried up. You can still find pretty useful stuff just from how much data exists on everything but it’s boring and tedious and you have to know exactly what you’re looking for. These days the best places to start are looking at what people in the west are saying about Chinese/Russian capabilities. There’s A LOT more information on them since they are the “enemy”, yet ever since the Cold War we’ve been in an arms race where if someone else acquires a source, method, or capability our country will immediately follow. It can be assumed that anything you hear about another country is something we also do. A relatively tame example I’ll give is this: China currently has a massive program of disappearing people and clandestine detention (ghost detainees) yet over here in the U.S. we supposedly stopped doing that after GITMO. We never stopped, we just got better at hiding it.
