Same here in eastern Europe A handful of main cities are CHOCK-FULL of people. And even then, it's a handful of extremely busy streets and areas, many side streets are devoid of life. I specifically know about 10 25 stories commie blocks in the middle of the damn city that are cardboard props, they're literally empty shells made to look like apartment buildings. Don't even get me started on the countryside, we have houses crumbling down, and entire field as far as the eye can see with nothing on them. Ghost towns are prevalent too. You have a point op. I live in Hamilton Ontario and I can walk down any number of main streets like Barton st or Ottawa and there's a shit ton of closed boarded up businesses. There was a hair salon on some street off Ottawa that I walked by from work and I am 100% certain it was used for money laundering. I only ever saw a guy drop off a duffel bag at like 8 am once, and never saw a customer inside, enter, or leave.
