I was scared and at a big crossroads in my life. Someone did a reading for me and replied, that they saw me old and alone, dying by myself in hospital. A few years later, I met someone and we settled down, we were basically married in every way but the legal paperwork. The thought of the reading popped up in my mind from time to time, I thought I had diverged away from that fate. I thought that the both of us would grow old together and that was that. How wrong I was. My beloved came home from work last september, feeling sick. He was told to go to a medical centre, so we did. Long story short, he died in my arms in the doctor’s office waiting for her to return with a crash cart. He suffocated and I witnessed the whole thing because I was so drawn to him that I could not leave him. So whoever did that reading, yeah, you’re right. I am going to die alone. I met my soulmate and there is no replacing that. It sucks though, it was so sudden and unexpected, he was middle aged, healthy as anything. We both had a new strain of COVID and by some freak chance, it took him from me.
