but the fact that there's a 24/7 campaign to disprove it despite "SUPPOSDELY" being the most ridiculous conspiracy theory makes you 100% sure that there's something that they're hiding, something so important that, from ALL subreddits about any gayass topic, r/flatearth is the only one who is ran by people mocking flat earth on daily basis for the last 14 years. And surprisingly, no, there's not a single subreddit community for flat earthers, it is shadowbanned, even COVID deniers have their space, even dog haters, but flat earth is not allowed, and the only subreddit allowed for flat earth, is the one that mocks it.>inb4 using gayddityeah because taking a look at that shithole is the easiest way to understand what is allowed and what is NOT in our society, and again, even the most degenerate psychos have a place there, but flat earth? not allowed
>>42768999>there's a 24/7 campaign to disprove it>[Citation needed]Even assuming that was true, it's a bit silly to use something like this as evidence when you can actually go outside and observe the shape of the earth yourself. That's much stronger evidence than what some people on the internet are doing.
>>42768999I suspect flat earth is largely a distraction and to make legitimate conspiracy theories look stupid. It all makes sense when you think of it this way. Even the opposition to it.For one, it brings attention to it when most people would just forget about it, and also there are a lot of normal people who see through it and just want to oppose the stupidity
>>42768999I've always prescribed to the idea that flat earth isn't about the actual truth, it moreso points to the fact that most people assume knowledge they have no proof of. Trusting authority and consensus reality becomes ingrained, and when questioned, many people lash out. The foundations of flat earth are about trusting experts. Who do we trust? Why do we trust them? If traveling to space was something anyone could do, flat earth would be answered. But we have to rely on others to answer that. I don't really think it matters much one way or the other. Would a flat earth versus a globe change my daily life? Of course the implications of being deceived aside, does the shape of earth actually matter to me? No, of course it doesn't.
Wewww lad the shills are out today aren’t they? This is the 3rd anti flat earth thread I’ve seen today. What did I miss
>>42768999Is interesting, I find myself usually asking the same questions.Idk if the earth is flat but there's clearly something fishy about it, space doesn't seem to be what we think it is, NASA is constantly covering the truth and we have like 2 "real" images of eart, the rest is all artificial, there has even been photos of earth passed as the moon and they've found the locations. Then there's the whole problem with the moon landing and fiction authors being involved with it, yeah is kinda weird. They are clearly hiding something important about earth, what is it idk, is it flat? honestly maybe, people always try to prove it with data that we can never know if is true or real, there's even an austronat having his tombstone engraved with a psalm talking about the firmament. That said maybe the secret is something in between, it could be that the earth is bigger than we thought and there are other species outside of our known continents, maybe the icewalls are real, they could just lead to different continents. It would make sense as there's a clear agenda to reduce the amount of people in the world and if people know there's more land they could just escape, also if they convince us there's no more territory is easier to push environmental laws to control people, as they've done it.
>>42772325nothing, the antis are active 24/7, ever flat earth thread i respond to they give me you(s) withing a min sometimes, even at 11pm. the fact is at 93 mm miles away light should only be coming down in giant shafts at 13 degrees. or they keep saying "uh, we just aren't smart enough to solve the three body problem" then call you names like we're in middle school.
the worl sis falt idiiiiiet! i'm drunk
>>42772434Also gravity they still don't know what the fuck gravity is, is just something they made up and have never been able to prove.they try to explaining by saying is not just that the earth is rotating, is not just that the earth is rotating around the sun, now is our galaxy is somehow constantly moving and to explain that some say that we are going towards a dark hole or else it doesn't make sense, and yet they still cannot explain gravity
>>42768999every video that's shot in space has a fisheye effect that gets exposed when they film the earth from the wrong direction and the curve goes the wrong wayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz2F_S3Tl0Y
>>42772719The horizon curves up due to the fisheye lens used that GoPros have. Why would you not use the widest angle possible in this situation? That doesn't make it a conspiracy. You would see the same thing on a skateboarding video or something. Here, this one is from 1960. No GoPro cameras usedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxfdC7U_mgQ
>>42768999Both sides are controlled opposition. You are supposed to watch from the seats and cheer your side and boo the other.Having some internet or TV talking heads as "your guy" is the whole start of controlling people, making them form tribes
There really isn’t a campaign to disprove it, flat earthers are just disregarded. No one other than fundamentalist Christian’s believed it until recently. I think it’s mostly cause new internet arrivals didn’t realize the flat earth society was a long running joke and started to believe it cause they are dumb mundanes that don’t understand humor.
The specifics of flat earth aren't important for explaining why it's so often discussed. People who believe in it because they subconsciously recognize that the crux of the theory is that mainstream science is bullshit, and the people who hate the theory will continue to talk about it for the same reason. Flat earth itself is stupid. The real question that it poses is a question about authority.
>>42768999The sam hyde video on flat earth explains pretty well why it makes "trust the science" type liberals so mad. It reminds them that our civilization is so flimsy because someone can just choose to reject everything they're taught no matter how hard the authorities try to convince them
>>42772967>There really isn’t a campaign to disprove itThe only people that bring it up and post anything about it are the flerfers themselves. The only "campaign" is they dont like how consistent the response is. Its why they never stay in one thread but continually run away to repeat themselves in another.
Really wish the term "flat earth" was removed. The use of the word makes people who find it phony to imagine the world is like a coin. I prefer plane earth, or living inside of a fish bowl.If you ever were to learn how to fly a plane or helicopter, you'll know the world isn't a globe. It's an open secret.
>>42768999I don’t know how you can be somewhere like 4chan and not realize people LOVE to autistically argue with other people over things to no other benefit than to feel superior to them. Of course people are going to try and debate flat earthers even if it changes no minds or has no tangible benefits
