hi 4chan. it took me a while to figure out how to post here so this better get attention. the situation I will be talking about happened in march 2025 but I can't stop thinking about it, idk if it's paranormal but I guess it fits into the category. One day I was on a walk in the forest since I live pretty close. I was with my mom and my sister. we've been in this forest many times before, it's really chill, but that day we decided to go a little deeper to one view point my mom knew. we walked further and got to the view point, before I turned around and saw a symbol on the tree. it weirded me out since it was so symmetrical and looked like some kind of cult thing. the picture attached is the tree in question. after all, we decided to keep walking around. my mom said that when she was around my age, a teen, she got lost in these woods with her friend, but now she knows her way around, so we decided to walk around deeper where she got lost. we walked for a long time, nothing really happened, I just started getting thirsty and tired of walking for so long so we decided to go home, it was cold anyway. we turned back and headed home. the same day in the evening, we were already in pjs, yk, getting ready for bed. my mom walked into mine and my sister's room with a post she found on Facebook, about a group of homeless people living in the exact same woods. I have pics of their "hut" or whatever you want to call it. a man reported getting chased with a machete by a homeless person in these woods, which most likely was one of them. I heard the guy was caught but the hut had clear signs of people living in there. I'm not sure if the sign on the tree, the machete guy and the homeless people are all connected but i kinda feel like it. we stopped going on walks to the forest especially alone and at some point everything quieted down and I never heard of anything again. idk what's the point of posting this I just wanted to let it out lol, maybe someone knows anything about it
