For at least the past 10 years, possibly longer, I have noticed this pattern whereby I will come to some kind of realisation, be it philosophical, sociopolitical, etc, and then somehow it seems to follow in the zeitgeist about 6-18 months later. Alternatively, I'll have some unusual cultural epiphany or thought about some intellectual pre-eminence and then I'll notice a surge of people (particularly online commentators, artists, authors, etc) come to an identical conclusion not 6 months after me. It's difficult to give specific examples as it's always so nebulous - sometimes it's at a meta social consequence scale where there is an obviously organic trajectory emerging in the shared human consciousness, other times it's so utterly specific that there is no way it could have been down to algorithmic happenstance alone. Metaphorically, very similar to how your phone will show you ads for things you've only thought about, but in this context on a massive population scale.I appreciate this sounds completely schizotypal, I'm not assigning any sense of meaning or proof of visionary grandiosity to it whatsoever, it's just a weird coincidence that seems to keep happening over and over again without fail. I suppose in a kind of Jungian sense, although I have to admit I only have a cursory understanding of that context. Am I the only one in the Truman show or do other people find they have had the same experience?I'm even starting to wonder if the disintegration of people's happiness and wellbeing is partly my fault, a reflection of my trajectory just ahead of them.>inb4 meds naoI know this sounds crazy lol, hence posting it on /x/
I've had this happen to me too. It's not such as unusual a phenomenon once you consider your thoughts are influenced by other people you're giving your attention to online and in person. Given how many people exist on Earth, coming to a realization or conclusion on a certain subject is bound to be shared with some other living person despite the fact that you've never interacted with them. You would be surprised how many of your thoughts and feelings are matched, especially by people living in similar cultural climates as you.Additionally, we are cognitively biased to seek out information or opinions that coincide with our presuppositions and worldview. So although you may be on the same page as online personalities you're giving your attention to, you are also ignoring all the people who developed an opposite conclusion, often sub-consciously.
>>43171108>>43171173>Am I the only one in the Truman showOnly fools and children think they're special. I also had it happen and my understanding was from the beginning that it's a glownigger influence. This website and pol specificially are a testground for their ideas and psy-ops. They're masters at influencing minds of their readers so likely those 'realisations' you had were artificially induced in your mind by some agent Smith. Later when they saw their psy-op was successful on hardened skeptical minds of 4chan they unleash it on NPC normies by using their controlled opposition influencers
>>43171108Yes.
>>43171337>Later when they saw their psy-op was successful on hardened skeptical minds of 4chan they unleash it on NPC normies by using their controlled opposition influencersIt's pretty funny. Minus the pizzagate shit they did to me.
>>43171108I know what your talking about, I have called things years in advance, I think there are so many layers that go unnoticed, human shared conscious streams, pattern recognition, low vibrational frequencies, it's all present. However you choose to pick up on it is up to you. Listen to it more, become comfortable with it and most importantly don't get so caught up with it, you ARE important, you are alive, and this is just as much your story as much as it is mine. We share the stage together and the choices you make do matter. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it has been exactly one of mine for some time now, go in peace friend.
>>43171108It's convergent evolution, on the noosphere instead of the biosphere. You come to conclusions faster than the average but you have the same influences as the eventual collective. Maybe you have some sources of information that are far upstream, like 4chan used to be upstream of most of the internet for memes.
>>43171108I know exactly what you mean and I loathe it with a passion. I have almost completely stopped posting on social media and I don't talk to people anymore. People live their normal lives, happily collecting all the material fruits of doing normie things and yet they also feel entitled to spiritual, philosophical ideas. And they always dumb everything down to their shallow versions, twist the ideas and then act smug about it. People are the worst.
