Been working on character designs and plot for a bisexual dating sim game. I'm not much of a coder so that's a big reason I've never gotten farther than just drawings or modding games to put these characters into.

The main (true) route is with a cross dressing man (because of course /sarcasm/), while the other route is with the main character's childhood friend (woman). The art style i've been considering is reminiscent of Kii Kanna's Umibe no Etranger.

For more context, it's meant to be like clannad in which the apathetic protagonist begins to find purpose/value in life through the characters around him. Plus, he will help them with their own problems (they have a lot) along the way and grow closer.

I've been imagining it like an rpg maker exploration game kinda like the Doukyusei from ELF where you gotta go visit people on specific days to progress the plot and raise affection/friendship levels. Also been wanting to include a present giving system where it could slightly change a situation (like buying condoms from a convenience store and giving it to a character to see their reaction, and then possibly leading to an ero scene in which it comes into play), or give the player extra dialogue (like giving a character chocolate and getting dialogue about their favorite kind). I'd prefer that the story doesnt feature any cheating, but also recognize that having a broad game world like this kinda feels like drama is meant to happen. I have yet to think about that sort of route.

Life kinda gets in the way, so it feels more like a fever dream right now than an actual project. So have COM3D2 screenshots of the protagonist blowing the cross dresser.

there's always an audience. slow drip the romance after the first 10 chapters if you're worried about it or do a short preview with smut in chapter 1 like Koreans do for their fujo comics. theres also plenty of webcomics that do smut first and expand the story later, which is annoying imo but it serves as a hook. I don't know how to print my 60 pages gaysex doujin from China. If I printed in Japan, the censorship is required. Printing locally are very costly and they don't want to print adult manga. such is the life in the islamic caliphate. Selling the digital form will risk disgusting pirates to leak the content. at least from scanning the printing, I'll add my own security measure to prevent photos or scanners to pick up the drawing images.

Should clarify that they are a switch couple, so the protagonist will have scenes in which he is bottoming and topping. The final game will be hand drawn and all that jazz. Currently messing around with pixel art since that's not really my forte but could be useful to know. 3D is just a really quick way of dumping images in my head onto the screen or anyone to see.

As for me, I'm trying to do a couple things, but I'm having trouble starting focused. I bought Moho to learn to animate, but rigging is honestly a pain and gotta need with bone strength a lot. I got a lot of v gross with it's vine system in general... Also, I'm not sure how to bridge the gap between vector and raster images, so it's been somewhat frustrating.

I used grok to help me write a story about gay vampires. All the ideas are mine, Grok is just better at making nice sentences. At the end I went back and fixed whatever I thought was bad so i take credit for it.

For the first point, don't link any identifying information with the account(s) related to the game.

For the second point, you may or may not have a hard time. A 17-year-old in ecchi hijinx is very tame, and as long as you don't mention minors outside of the game, you'll probably be fine even if you're technically breaking ToS. But you might not be, especially if you have enough haters reporting the game (which I doubt you would).

Steam, Patreon, and Itch would be a bit of a gamble. SubscribeStar and Unifans io are totally safe for this though—their ToS are extremely permissive and one can get a lot more taboo than what you're describing.

And if you're worried about the emotional distress of being flamed—I don't know, don't be. I've posted FAR more degenerate stories to Ao3 and received plenty of hatemail. Just block, delete, or laugh it off. If they don't know who you are, the absolute worst they can do is report you and maybe get your account/game taken down. (And let's be real, even if they do figure out who you are, doxxing is often just a scare tactic with little to no real consequence, and you can probably get them in just as much trouble because doxxing is almost certainly breaking ToS, if not the law.)

I'm getting flashbacks to Dragon Age's rivalry system where players had to either fully align themselves or fully oppose a datable characters viewpoint, and that it can potentially make characters the flanderized.

However, considering it's a porn game, it's not a big deal and that's probably what other people want.

Regardless of which system you go with, I'd probably still buy it
