>In his secret identity as A.I. spokesguru CHAD HAMMER, the son of Odin knows Mama Gaea is a TOP PRIORITY for heroes AND for business! But when a group of insane environmental activists take "saving the Earth" TOO FAR, it's time to show them the wisdom on BOTH sides — AS THOR! But WHICH God of Evil is prompting the kids to rebel? Could it be…LOKI, GOD OF EVIL???

>Featuring an all-star cast of heroes! MINOTAUR! EXECUTIONER! ENCHANTRESS! And the THOR-TRUCK!

>This is the story of THE ROXXIN' THOR… and it's a VITAL part of the "ABSOLUTE ABSOLUTION" MEGA-EVENT!

>AI based hedge funds
I feel like AI (or at least the slop currently called AI) is one of the few things comic books can't really joke about because in Marvel and DC sapient digital intelligences have been around for decades and are ubiquitous to the point where you can hardly call yourself a tech company without making at least one
>>
>>143233572
Well yeah, they take a page to get out of character and literally explain the point, but considering that the average retard's interaction with comic books consistes of getting mad at out of context panels it's not going to help one bit and a lot of people are going to make up their own retarded stories about this.

probably his art this issue feels even more like Ladn than usual.

>>143234834
In that case I guess the idea is not to be a passive spectator, but rather fight back and stop the Minotaur from making us/Thor look like jokes. Kinda the same challenge that the Empty Hand presented readers with, but less impossible.

>>
>>143233473
Roxxon has its fingers in every pie, some of its departments pander to woke and others pander to the right. Doesn't matter as long as they make money. That's the whole point, big mega-corporations aren't woke, they'll do or say whatever maximizes their profits and keeps the sheeple consuming.
>>
>>143233686

>>
>>143234866
i wish it was full of more classic swipes just for the joke, but i guess you can't fill an issue like this with kirby """"homages"""", it would be the dead of a few thousand reading souls.
>>
I think this issue missed the mark a bit, at least regarding a line that was in promotional materials, which was "But when a group of insane environmental activists take "saving the Earth" TOO FAR, it's time to show them the wisdom on both sides—as Thor!"

Ewing had already demonstrated to be willing to mock "le enlightened centrist" views with Lucan, so I wonder if he thought that criticism was unnecessary in this issue - given that the Minotaur says something along the lines of "But we do care about the environment! We just don't think we have to sacrifice our luxuries to do it" I believe he thought that Agger horrifically addressing the reader was more important to get the point across than the other point.

And bringing back Heimdall from the Far Shore and Brunhilde from Valhalla just to bury Thor even further does seem like the kind of petty shit Amora would do

Buckle up, fuckers, because I have a shit ton of Marvel ROXXON Universe ideas. First up, THE LEGALLY COPYRIGHTED SPIDER* MAN
>After Ben Parker was shot, Dario Agger became Peter's legal guardian and caretaker, "Uncle Dario".
>Seeing Peter's career potential after the famous wrestling match, Dario recognized a sure winner and decided to market the fuck out of Spider* Man. The * is for legal purposes and clarification.
>Peter is a wealthy celebrity who by day works in ROXXON product R&D department and by paid hours is the Legally Copyrighted Spider* Man, available upon app request. The "legally copyrighted" part of his name is to help distinct him from all the multiverse copycats they plan on suing
>Costume is the black suit but with a modified blue logo. ROXXON is printed on one of his sleeves much like Mister Terrific's FAIRPLAY
>J Jonah Jameson frequently slanders Spider* Man because he encourages kids to spend their money on crap and perform dangerous stunts on ROXXTUBE
>All of Peter's tech enemies are just fired ROXXON scientists who lost legal rights to their inventions or willfully participated in an experiment
>Peter is in a 3 way relationship with both MJ and Felicia, unmarried, as that would serve a financial risk. They're ironically very happy with this setup.
>Peter is later called in to train Miles Morales, their new "Big Thing" for 8 to 24 year old minority demographic. His costume is exactly like Peter's only with a red logo
With Great Power, Comes Great Financial Liability

I think that Dario mostly would portray Fisk as a good guy because otherwise he risks the genuine wrath of the actual Fisk (as this still takes place there). Or maybe he starts as a good guy then becomes a bad guy because *gasp* he fell in bed with the mutants, who sold tainted medicine to bonafide Americans then becomes a good guy again after he makes a big donation to Roxxon University (making fun of the revolving door that some villains engage with no matter how many atrocities they commit)

Yo, we could use a Greg Land thread for some of the noobs. Greg land is actually a talented artist, who is INFAMOUS for photoshopping people in, particularly from porn.

Land is probably sucking images frame by frame from all of the MCU movies for Thor here.

I GUAURANTEE this is deliberate, and it fuckign works here.

>>
>>143242357
Anon the Marvel universe is no stranger to "peculiar court" given all the crazy shit that has and will happen. We've had ghosts sworn in to testify on their own murder cases, we've had Daredevil sent to prison without unmasking thanks to special supreme court rulings, and we've had a guy sue for getting powers from a chemical accident.

And that was all Earth based. We've had cosmic courts where an extremely paranoid/secluded race sue The Watchers for example

If you don't understand the REALLY bad shit, it's very easy to lose perspective, and fall for clickbait, or dumb pol bitches arguing.

Like the people who yell and scream and shill in the spiderverse or mario movie threads about wokeness and girlbosses and other trash.

The thing about an SOP, is that you can't just post anything you want and expect everyone to hate it. Everyone gets to make up their own mind, and only the worst of the worst, in ideas, art, execution, WTF fetishes can really make the cut. More than one hater has posted a comic expecting everyone else to pile on, and really not gotten the reception they wanted.
