That said, don't worry. It's sweetness is very subtle, unlike some JPG or PR sugar bombs. However, don't take my opinion at face value, you need to try it and draw your own conclusions.

Here are the three samples it came with. I chose the two La Belles so my niece could have something since she is starting to like things like bath bombs. I'll give her those with the toiletry bag. The Le Beau sample comes with the bottle and it's purpose is try it before you open the bottle itself. If you don't like the smell then you can return the bottle at no cost. This is actually a nice practice by Jean Paul Gaultier it makes it easier to blind buy something if you don't have easy access to it near you.

The white cloth bag contained my samples. I was honestly a little disappointed in that I could not choose different samples. I am somewhat interested in the Habit Rouge Parfum and the L'Homme Ideal Parfum, but I really wanted to try the Vetiver Parfum, and then also Mitsouko and Jicky. I got three samples so I just picked the other because it was the cheapest other scent for women and I figured I would give that also to my niece. There were others that sounded more interesting but I didn't want to be the uncle who introduced a fragrance to my niece that she winds up loving and a bottle costs $300 or $400. I think this one was like $140 or so.

i didnt realize the creep gay uncle was also the same guy begging for advice about guerlains, i regret engaging with him in good faith.

Here is the bottle of fragrance itself. The bottle has a nice heft and thickness to it. It looks like the glass itself is around 1/4 inch thick. The liquid itself is much lighter in color than I expected based on the pictures I saw online. After removing the cap the spritzer, reassuringly, has no detectable scent to it.

I've seen other people in videos look at there's, so I checked the inside of my cap. There is in fact a Guerlain symbol on the inside. The cap itself feels like it is made of plastic but it has a surprising heft to it, so I suspect it has a metal core. It clicks into place very solidly and can easily support the weight of the bottle when being moved around solely by grasping the cap.

Now rather than try out my new bottle of Heritage, I am going to instead compare my new sample of Habit Rouge Parfum to my earlier sample of Habit Rouge EdT. Though in all honesty, unless this Habit Rouge Parfum is amazing I will probably be buying either the Vetiver EdT or Parfum next. It definitely feels ceramic, but I just pulled it out of the drawer and now I'm kind of second guessing myself. The inside feels softer than the outside. I think it might actually just be the weighted plastic cap coated with some particularly gritty/tactile paint. When I run my fingernail across the outside of the cap, it definitely has that sort of gritty/sandpaper kind of feel you get with baked ceramic, and it even kind of sounds like it when you tap it. I don't know, it's kind of tripping me out now. I do not know what material I am feeling

Actually, yeah, on closer inspection it's definitely plastic with a heavy kind of paint that gives the impression of baked ceramic. If you look closely you can see the seam from the plastic moulding, but it looks and feels like ceramic to the touch. And you can't actually see it IRL, but my phone camera brings out the unevenness of the paint in the textured part at the bottom.
