>>108262311looks more like something that'd fit in a bar, pretty neat.
I need a second 1440p monitor and I already wanted to get RE9. Are there any major downsides to this monitor? Because it seems almost too good to be true for the price.
>>108262354my asus panel cost me $250 at the time with 15 less hz, that oughta be nice.,
>>108262354Shitty stand, basic bitch IPS gaming panel.Fine for a primary budget gaming monitor, it's probably overkill for a secondary screen if you got a nice primary.
When do we expect AMD, intel and Nvidia to release new product ranges?
>>108262463Once the RAM apocalypse ends.
>>108262463Q1 2027 the earliest, AMD isn't a rush to sell more advanced CPUs when they're doing well in both data center & client segments.NVIDIA and AMD will continue to prioritize TSMC wafer allocations to more profitable processors than GeForce/Radeon products (as long as there's no production bottlenecks for the server/enterprise GPUs).Intel is still too behind to care for whatever they're shitting out for the next two years in terms of desktop CPUs & discrete GPUs.You waitâ„¢ for Intel products that come out after Nova Lake S.
>>108262463gpus 3 year release cyclescpus who cares
>>108262354def buy a pulsar monitor insteadmuch better motion clarity
>>108262549Pulsar monitors atm are as expensive as OLEDs (not to say that I think OLED are great, I still dont think the tech is ready for anything beyond TV/Phones/tablets). I really wonder how long it will take for the price to drop (or if the tech will become forgotten/abandoned instead of cheaply widespread like freesync). 650 for one might have been good if FALD was incorporated as well but nope.
So it looks like cleaning tar from the hexagon meshes is fucking impossible unless I pour acetone directly onto it and let surface tension do the work, but I don't have enough. I'd need a liter to dip the meshes in.God, this is fucking sisyphus work. I need a better approach to decontaminating this shitbox than a fine toothbrush. Something to stick into each and every one of those hexacomb mesh holes to mechanically dislodge the tar from the edges.
>>108262463I think it's far more plausible to just keep making what they already make or re-release old products than to launch new products most people can't afford and won't buyif intel had brains they would launch bartlett lake for consumers and force aibs to make new and more ddr4 z890 motherboardsamd should re release am4 x3dthose products would sell, people would buy themnvidia is smart, they already restarted production for the old 3060 12gb
>>108262624products are designed and finalized on a 4-5 year timescale. any short-term change in price doesn't or only barely affects next and next-next gen's time to market
>>108262636they already postponed zen 6 and nova lake to early next year, so the crisis is already making them change plans
>>108262590yeah but you get world class motion clarity, so its worth it
if I have a 5700x3d and they launch the 5800x3d, should I upgrade? it's only 400mhz difference
>>108262546>cpus who caresI care. The 5090 will be good for 10 years.
>>108262615Dish soap and a sink? If not get some purple power and mix accordingly. If too strong it will strip paint.
>>108262354go read the RTINGS review.but if it's a second monitor, why aren't you just retiring an old monitor, and why does it need 180hz?
>>108262699Get a nylon brush for scrubbing as well.
>>108262463>I NEED NEW I MUST HAVE NEW GIVE ME NEW>GIVE ME WARM>GIVE ME SOFTlate 2027.
>>108262590I expect that in 2028 we will get the freesync equivalent. nvidia's new features seem to be on a 2 year delay to being affordable and unlocked.
>>108262641not related to RAM retard.
>>108262727you have to be retarded
>>108262624>nvidia is smart, they already restarted production for the old 3060 12gbProduction of those dirt cheap Maxwell GPUs never ended, it keeps Samsung foundry and NVIDIA's OEM partners happy.
>>108262743I can confirm, that anon is retarded.
>>108262624>>108262641>>108262743you are either ESL, underaged, or illiterate.
>I'm the scalper now
>>108262699>dish soap and a sink?Maybe, I still got some E500 to try in the absence of TSP so I might try that after it dries so to not mix chemicals. Though I am weary of where to dispose them, cleaning the bowl of tar will its self be somewhat of an issue.>strip paint All the better if the underlying steel is intact, I may wish to sand before repainting anyway. My intent is to be rid of any and all odor from the tar.>>108262707If I don't have one already, though probably not small enough to wipe the hexacomb.
Upgrade from 7600x to 9600x for 15-30 bucks yay or nay ?(Depends on how much i can sell it for )I like my thermals to be low.
